In the tranquil valley of West Granby, on our own land and on leased acreage, we grow pesticide-free vegetables in accordance with the guidelines of the Northeast Organic Farming Association, from organic seed germinated in our own greenhouses. We distribute the produce through retail sales direct to consumers, via CSA shares, at a weekly farmer's market, and through selected wholesale accounts for eateries in the region.

We also share surplus vegetables each week during the season with Granby's Waste Not Want Not community dinner and seasonally with shelter kitchens in Hartford.

The 2013 season is our 17th year farming in Granby.

CSA
Community-supported agriculture signups take place in early spring. CSA shareholders pay a flat fee in the spring and then pick up a weekly share of our vegetables and herbs from tomato season in July through mid-October. See the web site for details.

Market hours at the farm during the season
