Want to use more locally grown products when preparing meals at home? Don’t think that you have time to find local farmers selling their own meat, cheese, poultry, vegetables and more?
The Granby Sampler will gather together an assortment of locally grown food and farm products and provide it to subscribers.
Granby Sampler boxes will be distributed twice each month, from mid-June through mid-December. Each box will include meat, eggs, dairy products, fruits, vegetables, and specialty products like honey, jams and flowers. A newsletter will accompany each box letting the subscriber know the contents and the farm that produced each item.
The annual cost to subscribers will be based on the total value of the box contents, about $60 a box. Subscribers will be asked to pay for their annual subscription up-front based on a box-by-box plan. The contents of each box may vary slightly from the plan due to weather or unforeseen issues, but the Granby Sampler guarantees the total value of a subscription.
