and hobby farms and promoting businesses that use local produce. |

The Granby Agricultural
Commission’s mission is to promote sustainable agriculture in Granby.
We are a commission appointed by the Board of Selectman.
Our objectives are to:

- Support commercial & hobby farms
- Enhance demand for local agricultural products through consumer education
- Enhance the supply of local agricultural products by advocating opportunities
for local
family farms
- Facilitate access to local agricultural products by supporting collaborative efforts
between
farmers and other public and private resources at the local, state and federal
levels
- Promote agricultural based economic opportunities
- Increase public awareness by promoting sustainable, mutually beneficial working
relationships between local farmers and the community
